ALL RETURNS AND ORDER CANCELLATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% – %25 RESTOCKING FEE. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS. IF A RETURN IS NOT AUTHORIZED IT WILL BE REFUSED. ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ORDER MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.
No returns will be accepted on any electrical or Special-Ordered-Parts – NO EXCEPTIONS. However we will make exceptions for goods damaged upon arrival or for goods missing parts that are not replaceable.
Special Order Parts – At ihscout.com we have many complete IH parts vehicles on hand at all times. These vehicles are dismantled on a regular basis and parts are sorted, cleaned and put into our regular warehoused inventory. Only if you call in an order for a part not listed on the website, rather from a vehicle in our parts salvage yard, it is subject to a $55 per hour labor rate to remove, in addition to the cost of the part itself. We will not engage in this type of order without first letting you know that it is a Special Order Part. Special Ordered Parts are also non-stock items that we cannot return. For clarification – There are no Special Order Parts Listed on this website, they are only individual requests from your phone order. Back Orders – Occasionally we may be temporarily out of stock on some items. Unless otherwise requested, we will back order any item not in stock. If you request no back orders, we will cancel any items that are not in stock and issue any credit due. We reserve the right to cancel any back orders after 60 days. If this should happen we will contact you and issue any credit due.
Damage Claims – It is the responsibility of the carrier for the delivery of the merchandise in good condition. Please inspect all deliveries in the presence of the carrier. If you receive an opened package or damaged package, have the carrier write “damaged” on the delivery sheet. Contact UPS or the Truck line so they can send a representative to inspect the damaged package immediately. That representative will then contact us and we will take the proper steps to file claims and/or replace the parts. In all cases of damage, the parcel must be inspected at the point of delivery. if this procedure is not followed, the carrier cannot be held liable for the claim on the damaged merchandise.
Drop Shipments – In order to save you shipping and time on certain items either out of stock or that are on back order, we may elect to have these items shipped to direct from the factory or warehouse.
Truck Freight Shipments – Some orders including many body parts, engines, etc. are too large for UPS and must be shipped by truck freight prepaid. Truck shipments average about $100.00 to $300.00 per order, This depends on the weight of the shipment and your location. There is an substantial extra charge for residential delivery, please call for estimate if you need the freight delivered to your door. We use an excellent freight broker that is extremely competitive with rates. We will pass this discount on to your order shipment. A credit card is required for all freight shipments. All orders are considered final. All Truck shipment orders must be prepaid in advance and then the order will be shipped freight prepaid. Any crating charges will be added to total bill. Please allow 2 to 6 weeks for delivery.
Parts Pickup – If you would like to pickup your parts in person at our location, please call in advance. Some items may not be in stock. With advance notice, we can potentially have everything here for you. Many of our local customers enjoy the benefit of picking up their own parts as well as pulling their own parts from our salvage vehicle inventory. No parts are held without a deposit. Any parts order that is held with a deposit are held for 30 days. After 30 days the part will be available for sale to any walk-in or phone customers. After 365 days we will retain your deposit and no refund will be given.
